Project:

Hoodie design

The client requested a hoodie designed; in order to commemorate another individual. The client supplied me with reference images, they wanted to be illustrated as part of a collage design; incorporating a few iconic cartoon characters

A3 plan

brainstorming is usually my first point of call, however having discussed with the client the main parameters of the design concept, I moved onto to work on the composition

Designing the main elements

The 'diet coke' was an element depicted by request of the client; as it resonated with the female subject, being one of her favourite beverages.

The idea here was to incorporate the female subject's hair in a similar style to 'harley quin'. The selection of colours was based off three different hair colours depicted within some of the references the client supplied.
